Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Would you like to be a volunteer at Esrum Abbey and have a backstage look at our activities? Do you want to be part of a friendly community that helps maintain the cloister garden, makes costumes and builds equipment for Esrum Medieval Days? Volunteering at Esrum Abbey might be for you if you are interested in the Middle Ages and history of monasteries.
The volunteer group consists of volunteers in all age groups.
The garden group meets once every two weeks during the summer season in order to maintain the cloister garden. Our biologist or horologist will talk about the historical plants and methods for growing, among other things.
You can also volunteer for our grand fairs and holiday activities – you can join as a facilitator, waiter and many more positions for the event group during the grand fairs, including Medieval Days and the Christmas fair.
We will host “volunteer nights” where we discuss what we would like to do and improve during the grand fairs.
Submit a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to know more about becoming a volunteer.
